It feels like a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Last week was the official release of my novella, A Cry the Gods Heard, on both my newsletter and on Amazon. It wasn’t just a new release that I was dealing with… I was launching my entire pen name. For the last month, I have been working around the clock to not only finish the novella, but also my website, newsletter, and social media accounts.

That doesn’t mean I will slow down, though. This week I will be prepping for a five day writing conference in Las Vegas, as well as scheduling my social media posts for when I am gone. I am so excited about this trip and I cannot wait to come back and tell you all about it. One thing that I am really looking forward to is networking and talking to other fantasy authors. Not to mention Las Vegas… an awesome city that you can never run out of things to do in. So far, I am going to a Cirque Du Soleil show, and visiting a couple of celebrity chef restuarants. Delmonico (by Emeril Lagasse) and Morimoto Las Vegas. What are your favorite things to do in Las Vegas?

Once back from Vegas, I will be working to finish up the self-edits/revisions to the next book in The Chronicles of Uncertain Succession series. I have three books that are already written that will need to continue to be edited and revised before they see publication next year. This series has been ten years in the making for me and I am ready to get these stories out into the world and continue to write books that I love. Hopefully you will love them, too. After that, I have several projects that I will be working on, including a new series and a couple stand alone novels.

It is setting up to be a great finish to 2022. What are some of your end of the year plans and goals?
